House Fire
"I taught myself to keep things to myself as I grew, making it easy to feel like I'm being too much. Many of us tend to water ourselves down instead of letting our light shine. If I didn't bottle my feelings up, I wouldn't explode. When I express anger especially, containing myself starts to feel out of my control. Times like that, I feel like a house that's caught fire, thoughts lost in the smoke. Strangely, after everything's burned down, I can finally breathe."

Self Disgust Portrait
"This self portrait was created when I was actually physically ill. I was losing confidence alongside my strength, spending my pain on pity each day. I saw a sickening image when I managed to look at myself, I didn't leave my room for weeks, creating a depression to go alongside the other sickness. Once I took the self disgust out of my head and painted it onto the canvas, recovery began."

4ganic
"I wanted to display the Earth's four elements bonding physically and mentally, whilst teasing the audience. When you spend time in nature, you get to know the personality that flows from gusts of wind, rays of light, each leaf and her unique veins, and everything in between. This community of environmental structure has to maintain a healthy relationship through the highs and lows of it’s existence. From an astrological perspective, the human communal experience also blends among elements in a similar way.”
